This is an extremely aesthetic cone-shaped Patagonian peak located in the Lake District. It is 3778 m (13,000 ft) high and can be climbed from September through April, in a 4 day program. It is surrounded by ancient Araucaria trees and placid lakes where you can enjoy a swim or catch a trout after getting yourself high in the mountain! Meridies also runs winter ski mountaineering trips on this mountain.

Season: September through April
Length: 4 days
Difficulty: This ascent is ideal for the novice and porvides a good taste of Patagonian mountaineering for the experienced one. It is a non-technical climb of 1400 m (4,600 ft) from high camp. Hiking times will be anywhere between 6 to 12 hrs.

Personal equipment included: helmets, crampons and ice axe. Group Gear: tents, first aid kits, communication devices, technical climbing gear: ropes, snow pro when needed, GPS, etc) and kitchen gear. The participant-guide ratio will be around 4:1, depending on the group size, usually groups of 3 to 10 individuals.
