In this region the glaciers converge with thick temperate forest, followed by the desert and vertical walls explode from flat frozen plains. Explorers such as Darwin & Eric Shipton were fascinated by Patagonia , one of the few regions that to this day, remains wild and pristine.

It comprises a spectacular array of peaks, lakes, glaciers, Patagonian forest and rivers. Our ‘Bariloche Grand Tour' will take you through some of the most staggering regions of Northern Patagonia. Five volcanoes for full off-piste skiing (out-of-bounds) linked in a 10 day tour in the Lake District of Patagonia. Spring is the ideal time for ski touring on the snow covered volcanoes of Patagonia. We will spend ten days travelling, climbing and skiing pristine slopes. This sea-kayaking expedition will take you to the the Pumalín Park , a private conservation initiative of Douglas Tompkins to protect the ancient Alerces forest, famous Yosemite big wall climber in the 60's. We will paddle negotiating currents and tides, watching wildlife, traversing channels, enjoying wild hot springs and traveling along the rich coast of the Chilean fjords. Length: 9 days.

Mt Domuyo (4,709 m) is a dormant volcano located in the northwestern edge of Patagonia, the highest peak in the region. Geysers, hot springs and marine fossils cover its slopes and canyons. The weather in northern Patagonia is much more stable than at lower latitudes and is a boost for reaching Domuyo's magnificent summit. Season: October through March. Length: 8 days.

A mountaineering expedition to a dormant 3,778m volcano, in the Lakes District of Patagonia. This cone-shaped peak is surrounded by ancient Araucaria trees, which witnessed the Jurassic period and placid lakes, where you can enjoy a swim or catch a trout after your summit bid! It provides incredible vertical ft to be skied in from August to October. Length: 4 days.
