Diverse Wilderness

The territory of Argentina covers a huge swath of latitude, from sub-tropical to sub-Antarctic. This makes it a privileged land where you can discover and explore its biodiversity all year round, whether you visit the rainforest and the Iguazú falls in the Northeast, the Puna high dessert and the Yungas rainforest in the Northwest; the sierras in the center; the Pampas surrounding the eclectic city of Buenos Aires; the high Andes and the wine country in the West; the Patagonia steppe with its cliffs and whales and the granite spires of the Patagonian Andes range in the South. Argentina has more than 70 years of a ‘conservation tradition’, which has translated into 32 National Parks, five Natural Monuments and three Natural Reserves with highest protection status.

Vibrant Culture

Argentina is a melting pot of different cultures, which often live side-by-side and in regions that have shaped their lives for centuries. These include the native cultures of Guaraníes in the Northeast, the Huiliches and Matacos in the Northern territories, the descendants of the Incas and Diaguitas in the Northwest, the Mapuches and Tehuelches in Patagonia. Cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, the gateway of Argentina, seduces visitors with its tango, its women and its renown nightlife.

Solid Infrastructure

Argentina has invested in its airports, communications and transport. You can find any type of accommodation in any major destination. This country has an extended network of ATM machines and Currency Exchange depots, in part because the local economy is pegged to the US dollar. Our current exchange rate makes it the best cost-benefit option in the region.

Safe and Secure

Would you like a Mate? That’s the most common welcoming gesture from the people in the backcountry of Argentina. The Mate is an infusion meant to be shared amongst people, even strangers. It is a social ritual that allows communication and sharing of conversation. Argentina has been the first country in the region to return to democracy in 1983 and its economy is rebounding after the economic crisis of 2001. Argentina is free of many tropical diseases and possesses an extensive hospital infrastructure.
